Damp wall from window installation

How can you remedy the problem of a window not being sealed properly from the outside, having developed damp walls and cracks on the inside?

Hi Kate you just have to take the old mastic out and remastic

Hi Pointing round the frame of the window with trowel mastic would seal the window frame from the outside. Depending if the Windows have recently been fitted there could be lack of DPM which would also cause dampness coming through the walls too. Hope this helps
