I have just bought a new build house and am concerned that the patio is built level with the dpc. I have been told by project manager of build that it complies with HSBC and building regs and that all new builds must have at least one level entrance to house. Is this correct?

Hi Shelley to comply with Part M of building regs all new homes must be wheel chair accessible, normally the front entrance has a low level threshold with the path running up to it. Unusual for it to be on the back is there a reason for it? Ask the site agent for reason. Ed
