Hi Stuart. It would normally be bricklayer and joiner. I myself could do both jobs. Joiners have the knowledge of overhangs for coverage of lintels , minimal of 150mm either side! Michael Williams

Which tradesman would be the best to enquire about fitting an external door to a garage. This will involve removing existing brickwork, fitting a lintel and fitting the door and door frame
