I would like a wall taking down and a door and frame fitted to make a room for a toilet do I need a bricklayer or carpenter

Hi mike. Depends on the house of the trades you need. If the existing wall is brick, then you need both trades, bricky to cut out new opening and brick up existing. If its plasterboard, joiner can do both. Michael Williams.
