Kitchen Wall removal

Posted by Paul , on
I need a quote for knocking a wall down and putting in a steel to hold the floor up. The calculations for the steel have been done by a structural engineer. Thanks

Hello Paul, Normally you would need to know the size of the steel before pricing, but if you wanted a rough idea of price i would suggest you have a budget of £2000 to £2500,this should cover the cost of steel,a skip to put the wall in,the fireproofing of the steel and the plastering of the steel, you will also need padstones either end, normally 3 courses of engineering bricks or solid concrete padstone, hope this helps. graham benfleetbrickwork and construction
