Airbricks

Posted by Dill Asbury, on
I have 4 airbricks under floor level in all electric kitchen. Also 2 other air vents above ground level and wonder can I block these 2 up?

Hi Dill, The air bricks are there to allow air flow to wooden floor joists. I would only ever consider covering an air brick if I was 100% certain that there is no more wooden floor joists anyway on the ground floor level. It is possible to extend the air brick if you want to pave the area. Wooden floor joists would start to rot away in under a year if air bricks covered.

What would you like to do now?
