Complete update

Posted by Carol Brougham, on
I am about to purchase an older property in need of completely updating. Which jobs should be tackled first, bearing in mind it needs a complete rewire, plumbing, bathroom, kitchen, windows etc. Thanks

Put in cables and pipe work ,this is called first fix , Windows and doors external , then plastering then tiling then bathroom and kitchen then doors and skirting , all ready then for decoration .

You need to start with plumbing and wiring. Windows can be fit in at the same time. Then door fitting if needed, plastering. As for bathroom and kitchen is best to get one person who would do everything from start to finish.

What would you like to do now?
