Hi Jim, We aim to connect you with up to three tradespeople - the average is 1-2. You can update a job to put it back to the top of a tradesperson's job list before a tradesperson has purchased it. But, once a tradesperson has got back to you to say that they're interested, I'm afraid you won't be able to do this. What you can do instead is cancel your job (details at: ratedpeople(dot)com/c/help#cancel-job) and post a new one if you're not happy with the tradesperson who contacted you.
