Daylight was showing through my loft because the flashing on the side of the chimney had come away from the brickwork. This was not extensive. Someone working on my poperty at the time applied a white filler along the wooden strut holding the roof felt up, inside the loft. Is it possible to colour over this white filler, to match the wood, so that it does not look so obvious and appear much worse than it actually is?
