How to get a reply?

I've posted a job (a side return kitchen extension) and am not getting any replies. We're also searching outside of rated people and hearing nothing back. Why don't builders want to respond? We have a reasonable budget and are asking for what we thought was a straightforward project. Thanks

Hi Laura, Stephen gives some good feedback here. If tradespeople are interested in your work, they will be able to buy your job lead if you wanted to repost. If you choose to hire them directly without posting a job, we would class this as a job posted outside of our service and you would not be able to leave them a rating etc. Thanks, Natalie Ask an expert team

Your budget is probably not big enough for the job tradesman will not respond if they think they are not valued I.e low price or feel they will be left out of pocket
