We want to knock through our kitchen into the dinning room to have a open plan kitchen diner. This will involve knocking down an interior wall with a possible RSJ and a redesigned kitchen. We do not want to lose (and perhaps gain) storage space. How do we start? Do we get a builder to do both the knock through and kitchen or should we use separate tradesmen? If we use separate tradesmen, do we start with the builder or a kitchen specialist?
