Posted by JASON DAVIS, on
What happens if i buy a lead on a job that has been hugely undervalued and the client cannot afford to have the works done. Am I entitled to a refund.

Hi Jason, I'm afraid you wouldn't be able to claim a credit on that occasion. Credits can only be claimed when you're not able to quote on a job. You're paying to access that customer's contact details and discuss the job with them if that makes sense. The specifics of that job and the amount you charge for that job are for you to decide as once you have their contact details the relationship then becomes one between yourself and the homeowner. We have full details at ratedpeople(dot)com/c/tradespeople/lead-credit-request-policy and if you'd like to discuss it in more detail, our Customer care team would be happy to have a chat with you about it. You'd just need to contact them through ratedpeople(dot)com/contact-us. Thanks, Natalie Ask an expert team
