Kitchen Extension

Posted by Richard Whight, on
Hi I'm buying a new home that has a garage attached to the house next to the kitchen and front room. The kitchen is a little small and I'd like room to add things like a dishwasher and possibly tumble dryer. Do I knock the wall through and turn part of the garage into a utility room or build some kind of single story extension onto the back of the house for a utility room. How much is either type of project and what are the property value implications for loosing the garage? Rich
