Hi, I am struggling to come to terms with the cost of installing an RSJ into the external wall of our house for Bifold doors to be fitted.
I have the Calcs and I need a Beam size 203x102x23 UB's but kitchen to have a 10mm plate 250mm wide welded to underside with stiffeners @ 900mm ctrs to fix bi-folds.
We have a window and single door in the external wall with a small pillar in between. We intend to use the existing door 'frame' and Window frame for the bifold doors. So actually not a lot to do really.
Electrics and plumbing will be cut off before the work starts as I already have a quote that I am happy with for this.
We live in Horsham, West Sussex and your feedback would be most welcome as to approx costs.
