Remove pebble dash from Victorian terrace

Posted by Kate Hickey, on
How expensive would it be to remove pebble dash from the front wall of a Victorian terraced house. The other houses on the street are all brick finishes. I need a rough estimate for the removal of the pebble dash. I am negotiating with intention of buying this house but need the costs involved for the removal of this before I can give the total price I am prepared to pay. Many thanks in advance for any help given . Regards Kate

Hi Kate Taking off dash is difficult to price as you don't know what your going to find underneath. Generally dash is put on to hide substandard brickwork (but not always) Need to allow - £50 - £75 per meter to point / repair brickwork £30 - £40 per meter to strip dash Scaffold if above ground floor (£600 - £700) Prices guidance only as would need to be inspected first Hope this helps Aiden
