Leaking extension roof - pipes or leak in roof?

Posted by Rhiannon John, on
Just moved into a converted property, and there is a leak between the extension join and original building, on the outside of the building, running along the join is a waste pipe from the bathroom, so the leak could either be from the join or this pipe where it connects to the roof along the extension outer or a leak in the roof itself. the leak has appeared in the kitchen on the original side of the building, do I need a builder and plumber to come and look at it? how do I establish where the leak is coming from?

It sounds like it's the roof joint . We would put a fibre glass bond in joint in there saves a lot of money rather than use in good old lead . Saves a lot of money an its maintenance free but as are friend Michael said a couple of inspection points made first thanks mark M&S would gladly give you a quote.

If you require a free quotation please get in contact thanks. Where building joins extension there should be code 5 lead running between wall and wall. Or a couple inspection points could establish if there is a leak in the pipe work thanks. Michael Reid.
