I've had a builder come in and mess up my extension and took 7K of my money. I know want to rectify these damages and I own several properties which I need to do work in and so I hire a general contractor to take care of this sort of stuff. I was wondering so I was wondering should I hire subcontractors or manage the project myself? is it any cheaper? I feel as though I'd have more control of the project if I manage it myself... any thoughts?
