Get a trench dug for a tree root inspection, what type of task?

I want to get a trench dug for a soil / tree inspection, is this a 'builder' task? The guy will need to dig a 500/600mm deep trench x 200mm wide - not damaging any existing roots, for a arborculturalist to come along and inspect.
