1. Build 6m x 6m ground floor extension with Apex slate roof and 2 x roof skylights. For use as Living room, utility room, bathroom and WC. Finish with patio 7ft 10ins x 18ft. Planning permission approved. 2. Build 3m x 6m construction (at rear of garden) with flat or slanting roof. Finish with patio 6ft x 18ft. 3. Erect Fence approx 72ft – with concrete posts and gravel boards and feather edge fence panels. 4. Repair Porch Canopy 2ft 6ins x 3ft 10ins. 5. To prevent mice – block/finish 3 x small wall holes, lay 2x floor tiles and replace 2 x kitchen unit kick boards. In preparation for above works numbered - 1, 2,3. 1. Remove a 9ft x 9ft construction currently in use as a shower room/utility room with WC. 2. Removal of 2 x small sheds 3. Removal of 5 small Trees and trim back Hedge. 4. Removal of existing broken fence approx 5 panels/posts. Open to suggestions/advice to keep costs down and complete works. What is your opinion on Fibre Glass flat roofing systems (GRP) for the works mentioned and would it be cheaper to have this type of roofing.

Hi Jenny It's the aesthetics or your finished desired look that would determine the finish, together with the pitch of roof, both slate and grp serve their purpose. Obviously GRP would be used where a flat roof is constructed. Any further help required please ask.... Regards Kevin Davies
