Stone wall with TV and fireplace mounted and some glass shelves etc.

We have a plain wall in our living room which we would like to redo. We want the whole wall to be a stone wall with a faux panel in the centre of the wall on which we would like to mount a TV and an electric fireplace. We would also like to build a few glass shelves on either side of the faux wall to keep our books and a storage to keep some stuff etc. I am not sure what type of tradesmen can do this for us and who should we approach to get this done...Any idea on approximate costings for such a task...

Hi Roohi, This job by description sounds simple enough. There are a few ways in which to finish such a wall. I have been in London doing similar work where I would use slate/natural stone and porcelain on interior living area walls with great success as it's currently a little know type of interior finish. We can also use Venetian plaster that mirrors the effect of marble granite etc etc it is applied in the conventional way but is polished after being trowelled smooth . I am able to offer all services to complete your job quickly to great finish regards Tim
