Ive had new wall ties approx 3 months ago. just recently noticed wet patches underneath wallpaper and lots of mould spots. Seems to correspond to the holes outside. The holes have been filled with a soft substance not mortar. is it possible for them to let water in on the gable end? Also had a new roof but survey stated the chimney stack may need sealing and looking at. Had the survey done before new roof and presumed they would have sealed the chimney when they did roof?
