I had a loan agreed at the start of 2020 - and then there was a pandemic... The loan was originally to get a new roof and fit a dormer and staircase up to the loft. We've been shielding as we're both high risk and so haven't had anyone in the house. There is now more extensive evidence of water in other places around the house, so I'm thinking we may need to focus on repair rather than extension. People working next door have highlighted issues with the garden wall that may actually be the source of the damp...
I really need advice on what to do first. I can send photos if that would be helpful.
