Creaking and cracking floors upstairs in newish build

3 year old house. The floors upstairs are extremely noisy, they crack and snap the sound is terrible downstairs. Have approached builders who say nothing wrong. Don’t know if floors need ripped up and redone but the noise with 5 people in the house is getting on my nerves. How do we fix? (Had same issue in my last house and we ripped the carpet up and added many screws to try and tighten the floor down but it never really made a difference)
