I have a steel front door with a wooden laminate which is now flaking and requires varnishing. The original installers are quoting a substantial amount to varnish and the recommended a good contractor to treat the door like any other wooden door.
What should I consider when requesting for work to be done and what qualities should a good tradesman who specializes in woodwork / varnishing/
