Hi Graeme there are 2 ways to do it: 1. Fit a 4/5mm make up strip onto the frame to take up the amount the plaster sits proud. When fixing to frame set it back 5-10mm from the front edge of the frame. 2. Rebate the back of the architrave ( plane a step section) 4/5mm to allow it to sit over the plaster that's sitting proud.
