Hi Kenneth firstly you only mitre external corners not internals ,on internal corners you scribe one piece to go over the other. If you are only doing a couple of mitres a basic mitre block will help you get a neat cut or for a bit more expense a hand mitre saw will do the job faster and more accurately. Ed
