Unhappy with customer review

Posted by Amy Ferguson, on
I carried out joinery work at a customers house of which i brought in a third party plumber at her request, she was away on holiday all week and when returned refused to pay saying the plumbing work was not acceptable but could not base this on any specifics and i get the impression she did not want to pay, she has left a bad review on my profile even though its not my work shes unhappy with and is also refusing to pay. Is there any advice here ?

Hi Amy has she not paid for any of the work or just the plumbing? I would ask the customer to list the issues with the work carried out so that you can be given the opportunity to put these right ( if there are any!). If she refuses to do this then I would give her a week to change her mind and then start county court proceedings against her, this can be done for a small fee and would be well worthwhile especially if she never had any intention of paying ( the threat may be enough to get her to pay up). If there are issues with the plumbing and you arranged for the plumber to carry out the work then you will be responsible to get this corrected if the plumber won't come back. Good luck. Ed
