It all depends on the look you want to go for,normally you’d use Mdf of chipboard,MDF could be hand painted or sprayed the colour you want,MDF and chipboard is used as a core and can be laminated any colour or wood grain of your choice,if you want top quality,EGGER is a good manufacture of materials which can be purchased at Lawcris or many more companies found on the internet.
