I want to place an aquarium (4ft x 2ft) in my living room however I’m not sure whether the current joists will support the weight (max 650kg).
The room measures approx 3m x 4m, with only 2x small sofas in the room both weigh less than 20kg each.
Joists/flooring are all in good condition with no sag/bounce, however any guidance on whether a) the weight would be ok within a 3sq metre space or b) recommended ways to reinforce the floor to take an aquarium of that weight.
