Why do tradesmen not give invoice/receipt? I am a landlord and need proof of expenses. I had works done by tradesmen, expensive, I had the decency to pay on time, they NEVER gave me receipt. I am totally inconsolable how do I prove to inland revenue I spent thousands on works when workmen gave me no documentation?
