Best carpet cleaning method

Posted by Louise Hirst, on
I need my carpets cleaning but I'm unsure as to the best method/people to employ. The shampooers/ dry fusion/ steam cleaners all say how rubbish everyone else is, that shampooing rots carpets and encourages mildew and chemicals used in whichever type attract residue and are harsh /unhealthy. My carpets are synthetic/deep pile and I have 3 dogs I do not want poisoning.

Hi Louise, Shampoo/steam cleaners i would not professionally recommend to anyone, just not a fan of those two methods. As a professional carpet cleaner i would recommend two options. 1) Hot Water Extraction. 2) Host dry carpet cleaning. in hot water extraction, the carpet cleaning technician will do a pre-cleaning inspection of the carpet, to identify the fiber type that is in your carpet, the age of the carpet, any spot or stain, any existing damage, the build of the carpet, if it has an latex backing, etc. after the pre-cleaning inspection, he will decide what is the best way of cleaning the carpet, what are the best available chemicals that he can use, however, sometimes he will have to use harsh chemicals. Furthermore, the difference between a professional carpet cleaner that has formal training and someone that calls himself professional is that real professional will know exactly what rinsing chemical to use in order to restore your carpet to a neutral ph. It is extremely important for your carpet to have a neutral PH, as if not you can get carpet burns, the carpet will resole a lot quicker, can be hazardous to you, your family and your pets among others. If you want to be sure that you hire the best possible carpet cleaner in your area, contact the National Carpet Cleaners Association and you will be able to find experienced, professionally trained and vetted carpet cleaners. 2. Host Dry Carpet Cleaning. Host is the only true dry carpet cleaning system available on the market. Furthermore, all the chemicals used in the cleaning process are certified green by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, making it a cleaning system that is 100% safe, dry and clean for you, your family and your pets. To find more information about Host Dry carpet cleaning visit hostvonschrader Please note that some NCCA Members do use the Host Dry Carpet Cleaning System. I hope this helps, Kind regards, Remus DCC.
