How can you remove laminate paint from the floor without damaging?

Richard Mckeown

Hi Kris It depends what floor the paint is on and whether the paint is oil or water based. If the paint is water based and on carpet or such like, then warm soapy water should work well, or use a carpet cleaner to spray on first, then follow their instructions. If it is an oil based, then you will need a version of white spirit to try to loosen it, before using warm soapy water to clean it all off. this may take some time though. If the product is on a firm surface, say laminate or wood flooring, then the paint should pick off or be able to be scraped off.
