Wallpapering

Posted by Amanda Seller, on
I have existing wallaper on plasterboard, which is likely to damage the plasterboard when i take it off. Could you suggest how I can take it off and then paper one wall and paint the other? I was wondering if it may need to be plastered again.

Hi Amanda what ever the wall paper is stuck I don't seem to have problems, I use a steamer and it comes off well the trick do not apply steamer for long time or you could lift the backing from the plaster board. Bob Glen Painter/Decorator.
