connie any decorator worth their salt would know if the paper has been reversed rolled which some papers are simply he wasnt very observant on what he was doing solving the problem he should really rectify if you can prove its upside down ie a sample picture of it hung good luck
Hi connie, you seem to be in a predicament what I can see the easiest way is if you had a roll of the existing paper you will then be able to tell, which way the wall paper runs always the top comes off the roll first, and that being the upper part. If there is none, try to trace the match to where you got it from if on line you should be able to do this, personally it does not seem logical to start from the bottom when you will wallpaper maybe its a strange pattern and can be reversed I don't know, check out before going further.
