Ceiling paint peeling off in bathroom

About 4 years ago we had our bathroom decorated, and it was painted with normal paint. we live in a terraced house and the bathroom has no windows just an extractor fan. the extractor fan broke and now the paint on the ceiling has stared peeling off and there is mould underneath. what is the best way to deal with this as we want to decorate bathroom.

Hi Zoe, your problem is the extractor fan, replace that then your condensation will disappear but you must clean the ceiling surface of the black mould growths. Suggestion repaint with a anti mold paint moldite especially for bathrooms Hope this okay for you. Robert Glen Painter/Decorator.
