Hi Malcolm. I would expect a tradesman to charge about £150 a day take into account how long you would take, a professional decorator would be much quicker . So on what you're asking would be 5 or 6 days £750 - £900 Hope this helps .

Strip, anagalipta and paint, large lounge, kitchen, top of cupboards and ceiling and one wall. Strip, anagalipta and paint hall stairs and landing, strip, anagalipta and paint two bedrooms and ceilings. Paper one feature wall in each room. Paint skirting boards, door frames.

Hello Melcolm, the going rate varies depending on your location. My basic rate for local jobs is £125/day I would add some travel costs if over 10 miles away. In London for example you would expect to pay £150 or more per day. On the other hand if you're getting quotes then you'll be given a price for the job to be completed. Hope that helps
