Hello, Im a new member to this site and just have a query i require a answer to. i have found a job which i want to take on, it states that the person wants to pay no more than £500, if i bid for the job and win the job does that mean that they will accept a quote that i provide under £500 or do they have the choice to reject the quote i give and if it is not sufficient for me do i lose the money i places as a bid.

You can quote what you want. Customers always put a low price but if they £500 and I see the job is worth £700 I would justify it and explain why it's £700 and not £500. Ultimately quote the job for what it's worth. Barry
