Help getting glue off numerous layers of wallpaper

I decided I wanted to redo a bathroom I have the wall paper.off but under that I've found a couple papers of the paper and tons off too (glue) while is making it almost impossible to get to the dry wall. I have tried the wall paper stripper both spray and the concentrate fabric softener and warm water and hot water. I was even scrubbing the walls with the concentrate and nothing seems to get the goo off white is keeping the thin paper on the wall what other options are there to try to get this off.
