Steve I have been with rated for nearly 3 years how many enquiries for me I can count on one hand, if you are waiting for the people to come to you its a long wait, most of my work is referrals and old clients ringing me and I have constant work. Stay with it. Bob Glen Painter/Decorator.
A few years ago things were a lot better on this site, they've reformed the system a few times since then and each time it is to their advantage, forgetting that we pay their bills! I have to admit that a site I would have highly recommended a few years ago is no longer. : (
Hi steve the leads don't aotumaticly come to you I'm afraid it just depends on the customers looking at your profile and liking what the see and inviting you to qoute I have 150 good ratings and only get qoute invites every couple of months all I can advise is keep at it and you will find the more ratings you have the more qoute success you will have. Hi Steve good luck i have been on rated people for 3 years and have nearly 100 ratings every one 5 star apart from two 4 and half stars. Unfortunatey the way all of these websites work you will be forever chasing the customer as they have the control of every job its a back wards system now. My advice keep working hard and build up your ratings but there are to many clowns on rated people that will under cut you as they are desperate for work.
Been on it for 3 years and is a waste of time, looked at the money paid out for membership fees and buying the leads and has cost me more than I brought in from it. A waste of time
This is not checkatrade you still have buy the leads and price as normal , the ratings are just for potential customers to read before they make there mind up who to pick
Steve, I have been on rated people since start. I only stay on it now has I can provide a link to my reviews on my quotes. I very rarely buy a lead now has it has got too expensive compared to prices 12 to 24 months ago or MyBuilder is far cheaper. I never have had someone contact me for a quote, has the web link never appears on a Google search and if they do request a quote, you still have to pay the lead charge.
