What type of tradesman do I require

I have a fire door, from the kitchen to the garage. The closing mechanism that adds resistance no longer works, (I have tried to replace it but unsuccessfully). Consequently the door is slamming causing the door frame to come away from the kitchen wall and one of the breeze blocks in the garage to be dislodged. What tradesman would you recommend to solve my problem

I have to ask - did you follow the instructions when installing the door closer? The other, more serious problem, is the door frame and wall falling apart - as you say, this is a fire door and it sounds as though the surrounding structure is not up to it. I'd get a builder to make sure the structure is sound.
