You will need a builder . Please let me warn you , the old fireplace needs to be rendered with waterproof render to prevent hygroscopic dampness and the cavity MUST be ventilated

I need an old fireplace in a bedroom removed, hole in wall made good and floor and skirting made good. Would I post this job for a builder, joiner or plasterer ?

Hi Anne If your fire place is still conected to a gas pipe then will need removal by gas engineer only I am affraid. Best regards Rafal
