Hi Walter If it's a modern paste like solvite you can cover it and use it months later. All mixed pastes benefit from being made up the night before and given another stir before use. (When you mix it, cut the corners off all the packets you are going to use, use a flat stick and start stirring the water, once the water is spinning, pour in the paste quickley and steadily, you have 20-30 seconds before it starts to gel and then you won't get anymore in without making lumps, so pour it in evenly but quickly is the rule) I hope this will help Best regards Rafal
