How can I remove very dirty stains from wood effect floorimg

My floor is black in some places through polish and dust and I can't remove it. It is not wooden flooring but wood effect.

Hi Theresa Try using a little bit of turpentine on a non lint rag. Gently rub on a small area and it should lift unless it is an actual failure of the laminate due to age. If the stain removes use a little bit of soapy water to remove any left over residue. Hope this helps Best regards Stuart
