Hi Wendy the floor above the garage on any new house should already be insulated to meet building regulations and have plasterboard to the underside, this should be more than adequate to insulate the floor. It maybe worth contacting the house builder regarding your concerns and get them to check it has been correctly insulated. Hope this helps. Ed.

Yes it' can be insulated on garage wall & garage ceiling with insulation board on wall & ceiling Which would make a big difference Regards g. Branch plastering

Yes that would,nt be a problem, also add a couple of rads & that will do the trick!
