Hot water

Posted by Peter Brownless, on
The flat has a hot water cylinder with a dual feed white meter and normal supply controlled by a Horstmann Economy 7 Quartz.. Recently the flat has had the bath replaced with and electric shower and we have far more hot water than we need. The immersion heather is also no a little unreliable sticking on (its in deg F so it?s old). Is it worth changing to a dual cylinder such as the Gledhill ones or is there a better solution for a small supply of hot water?

Difficult without seeing your current cylinder, you should be able to control the temp of your hot water and it definitely should NOT stick on you must get that attended to. A new cylinder would not be the answer but perhaps a new immersion heater. Tim
