Hello,
We have had a quote for the fitting of a log burner. Does the individual need to have any specific qualifications to do this (as you would if you were dealing with gas etc)?

Hi Sarah yes they must be regasterd with hetas and they need to make sure your flue is cleaned before fitting regards steve

It would be best as there has to be a flue for this type of burner

Yes I would certainly think so apparently more people die from carbon monoxide poisoning from wood burners than of gas fires how would I know this because the guy told me from the wood burning shop I went into so it's as equally as important as gas so beware of who the fitter is hope this helps
