Change of colour

Applied a tester of Dulux Haybail on top of our existing sitting-room wall which is painted county cream. It turned a very pale powder blue , why would this be?

Hi Jean You really aught to ask a proper decorators merchant like McDonald rose. It sounds like the colour of the paint you are putting on is a straw colour, so it shouldn't turn blue. Sounds like a job for the paint rep JC
