I want a loft ladder fitted. Who would be the best people to ask?

Hi Ann a carpenter is best for the job as you may need to enlarge the loft hatch opening, this needs to be trimmed correctly to maintain the strength of the ceiling, I've seen some appalling efforts from so called professionals! Ed

Hi I would advise a general builder as u might find the felt has rotten back causing the wet patch on ceiling very common problem
