Hi Patrick Is it splashback on oven or on wall?? If it is on tiled wall I would suggest to get someone who is confident as it is not so easy to remove without damaging your tiles Regards Rafal

It is difficult to say without actually seeing the situation, however it probably isn't the best idea to fix the new one onto the broken one, as its strength is now compromised. As I said, it is difficult to give great advice without seeing it, but usually the best way to remove something that is surrounded, is to carefully smash it out. Basically, slowly and carefully break the glass into smaller pieces, removing them as you go. Be sure to cut any sealant that joins the glass and tiles first or brake any grout joint. Wearing gloves and goggles would be recommended! Brett
