Builder, decorator or DIY expert?

The ceiling inside a cupboard has been damaged after rain appears to have been slowly getting through the roof. I am now left with a hole about the size of a large fist. The area has dried out but there appears to be some cracking around the edge of the cupboard ceiling. Is the repair a job for a builder, decorator or general DIY expert.

Hi Sue, Make sure the leak has been repaired 1st, then a Plasterer is your best bet, as its only a small ceiling probably best to put new plasterboard ceiling up, would need to be seen 1st thou. Regards, Lee plasterer

A plasterer should be your best bet , as long as leak repaired G. Branch plastering

Firstly make sure that you have the leak sorted regardless of wether its dry now it was obviously leaking from some where and this needs to be addressed. Then a good handyman/painter and decorator should bd able to sort you out. Hope this helps
